The heavens are telling the stories of God;
and the firmament proclaims his handiwork.
Day to day pours forth speech,
and night to night declares knowledge.
There is not a single word, nor any sounds.
His voices extend through all over the world;
His words spread to the poles of the earth.
Our God the Lord set the tent between here and the sun,
which is like a groom who goes out of canopy,
And like a knight who runs fiercely after the road.
It comes out from one side of the sky and goes down to the other,
And nothing can escape from its heat.
